Final Brand Image

As I couldn't decided which photo of my model to use for my final submission, I decided to Photoshop and compose two images I wanted to use and then asked for a second opinion on which I should use and why.
These are the two images.


In this option, i love the way the background if a solid black and the shadows from the model melt into the background, it makes the image look mysterious and bring out the intensity of her dark eye make-up more. The composition of the photo is pretty generic however and isn't anything out of the ordinary, this means that it is a safe option as i know that it works well, however it isn't fresh or new which means its easily forgettable.

In this option, I have textured the background which makes the model stand out more and makes her more pronounced. I have also lightened the under eye makeup which makes it more noticeable and lightens the eye more. The composition of this one is a little more different which makes it more memorable and I much prefer the balance of the colour in this. The combination of the gold necklace in this and the red lipstick product in the corner gives the viewer a little more to look at without it being too busy. 

After deliberating between the two, I asked another person what they thought of the composition, the colour balance and the pose of the model and which was most inviting, and they also preferred the second one.
